We are headed to Montana for the Spring and Summer season. Gavin has accepted the Executive Chef position of the Hightail restaurant at Hightail Ranch.

We will be back in MA for a couple surprise pop-ups this summer/fall, and we’ll also be in MA for January, February and March of 2025. Get on the invite list so you don’t miss any MA dates!

What is Bon Ami?:

  • Bon Ami is a prix-fixe menu.
  • We are happy to do an entire vegetarian menu or veg for specific courses.
  • We can accommodate most allergies and dietary preferences.
  • Doors open at 5:30, we get started at 6:00 and finish around 8:30.
  • Price is $134 per person but subject to change. Wine pairing is $56 per person.
  • No sweatpants 🙂
  • CANCELLATION POLICY: We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel with less than 24 hours, we hope you’ll offer to pay for your tickets. I will always try to fill your spot and if I am able too, would never expect payment. Thank you for understanding.

Bon Ami is a different kind of dining experience. It’s kind of like a restaurant, kind of like a supper club, but mostly like a really awesome fancy-ass dinner party at your friends house. Our lovely host restaurant, 80 Thoreau, is closed on Mondays, which allows us to take over the space and do what we do. Every Monday, we offer a five-course, prix fixe tasting menu experience, with optional wine and beverage pairings.

Our menus are conceptualized without any testing or development, and ingredients are chosen based on seasonality, local produce/protein/seafood availability, and chef’s general mood. Thus, our dishes are responsive, adaptive, improvisational, and one of a kind. Typically, we run the “same menu” two weeks in a row for booking purposes, but each service is unique. Our menus are more of a guideline, or a preview. Every dish tells its own story of fluidity and change.

Dinner is a flat seating, meaning all guests arrive and are seated in the same 20-minute window. We get started right at 6:00pm, and dinner usually lasts till 8:30ish. Five courses, plus bread service and an amuse bouche. There is good music. The room is crowded, but not overly-so. And everyone who shares the space, our team included, shares the same vigor and excitement for food, drink, and general merrymaking that we hope you will bring with you.

We send out the link to book your reservation via our invite list (newsletter) first. About an hour or two after invites go out, we post the link for the reservation page on our site and IG.
